Job summary

Rekor Systems, Inc. seeks an Engineering Data Traffic Technician to support the Portable Traffic Data Collection division in the Georgia metro area.

The role involves installing road tubes or cameras, collecting traffic data, and supporting automated classification and volume counts across multiple locations weekly. The position requires driving a company vehicle, extensive travel, and readiness to work outdoors in varying weather.

Qualifications

Proof of High school diploma or GED required.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Background verification, employment history, education confirmation, no criminal history, drug testing.

Responsibilities

Safely install all assigned equipment at sites located across the coverage area.
Review assigned tasks for the week, check the weather, and devise a plan to complete the work.
Maintain the working condition of all assigned equipment by replacing batteries and other parts as needed.
Notify manager of any issues that arise throughout the week.
Operate and park the vehicle safely and legally at all times.
Maintain vehicle’s working condition and physical appearance.
Upload all data to FTP site.
