Job summary

Kiewit is seeking a Field Engineer to support contract administration, planning, scheduling, cost controls, and field supervision for civil infrastructure projects across the South Central District.

The role requires 3–5 years of field/office experience in concrete or civil operations, strong plan-reading skills, and a commitment to safety and teamwork. Projects are mobility-based within TX, LA, MS, and AR, with comprehensive benefits and project-based assignments.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of construction field/office engineering experience supporting concrete and/or civil ops.
• Ability to read, analyze and identify discrepancies on engineering plans, specs, and contract documents.
• Experience with infrastructure projects (roads, bridges, dams, water/wastewater).
• Willingness to travel within the South-Central District as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with review of drawings and specifications for field crews and supervision.
• Help prepare work plans and work packages.
• Supervise field surveying and layout support including elevations and control points.
