Job summary

SLB, formed from ChampionX, is seeking a Chemical Service Technician for Casper, WY or Thermopolis, WY. This role supports Sales in strategic district accounts and assists with start-ups of new applications, delivering reliable customer system assurance.

Responsibilities include installing, calibrating, and maintaining chemical feed and process monitoring equipment; performing chemistry tests, logging data, and reporting results; and maintaining inventories at customer sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License with acceptable MVR.
• Must be 21+ to operate a company vehicle.
• No immigration sponsorship offered.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work autonomously are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine service support to Sales in strategic district accounts and assist with start-ups of new applications.
• Provide technical support to customers; identify and resolve pain points; escalate as required.
• Install, calibrate, and maintain chemical feed equipment and process monitoring equipment at assigned accounts.
• Log and report chemistry test data and maintain product inventories at customer sites.
• Travel within assigned sales territory up to 10%.
