Job summary

ChampionX seeks a Chemical Service Technician to support sales in Casper/Thermopolis, WY. You will perform routine service, assist with new applications, and provide technical support to customers in oilfield settings.

You will conduct chemistry tests, log data, and manage inventories while installing and calibrating chemical feed equipment. A strong mechanical aptitude and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Associate’s degree or trade school certification is preferred.
• 2 years of technical service or field sales support experience is preferred.
• Water treatment or specialty chemical industry experience is preferred.
• Must be able to work independently with strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine service support to Sales Representatives in strategic district accounts to execute customer system assurance plans.
• Assist Sales Representatives with start-ups of new applications in existing and new accounts.
• Provide technical support to customers; identify and resolve pain points, escalating as required.
• Execute chemistry tests, log and report data, and maintain product inventories at assigned customer accounts.
• Install, calibrate, and maintain chemical feed equipment and process monitoring equipment at assigned customer accounts.
• Possible travel within assigned sales territory up to 10%.
