Job summary

ChampionX is seeking a Chemical Service Technician to support our sales team in Triadelphia or Wheeling, WV. You will perform routine service, assist with new applications, and provide technical support to customers, while maintaining equipment and inventories at assigned sites.

The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent); an Associate's degree or trade certification is preferred. You may travel up to 10% within the district and must have a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate’s degree or trade school certification preferred.
• 2 years of technical service or field sales support experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine service support to Sales Representatives in district accounts to execute customer plans.
• Assist with start-ups of new applications at existing and new customers.
• Provide technical support, identify and resolve customer pain points; escalate when needed.
• Perform chemistry tests, log and report data, and maintain inventories at customer sites.
• Install, calibrate, and maintain chemical feed and process monitoring equipment.
• Travel within the territory up to 10%.
