Accura Engineering is seeking a CEI Inspector to perform field inspections of roadway, bridge, and transportation projects, ensuring compliance with plans and standards. You will verify materials, maintain documentation, and support project engineers throughout construction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1.5–3 years of progressive transportation inspection experience.
• Experience inspecting roadways, bridges, or heavy civil construction.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specs.
• GDOT certifications or ability to obtain them in specified timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Perform independent inspections of roadway and bridge construction activities.
• Inspect asphalt and concrete materials, pavement placement, compaction, alignment, depth and quality.
• Monitor structural components and operations including foundations and reinforcing steel.
• Maintain project documentation and prepare inspection reports.
• Supervise other inspectors and participate in project meetings and reviews.
• Assist with construction management duties on resurfacing, safety, and rehabilitation projects.
• Communicate effectively with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
