Job summary

AECOM is seeking a CEI Construction Services Inspector to join the Transportation team in the Tallahassee/Tampa area. This on-site role involves inspecting roadway and bridge construction, performing field tests, and supporting the Senior Inspector in day-to-day duties.

The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, a valid U.S. driver’s license, and US citizenship. Certifications such as CTQP and IMSA are preferred; occasional overnight work may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License required to visit project sites and offices.

Responsibilities

• Inspect construction work and perform field tests for contract compliance.
• Assist Senior CEI Inspector, review work in progress and support inspections.
• Monitor quality, performance, specs, and code requirements during on-site activities.
• Document daily field inspections and maintain records; participate in punch lists and testing.
