Job summary

Vortex Companies, LLC is seeking a CCTV Operator to perform inspections of pipelines using CCTV cameras, including jetting and clean-out installation. You will locate manholes, manage equipment, and support sewer maintenance projects in waterline environments.

Travel is required and the role is full-time and non-exempt. Typical duties include recording footage, maintaining equipment, and coordinating traffic control, with safety and attention to plans and specifications.

Qualifications

• At least 1-year experience with water, sewer, televising, jetting, or CIPP construction.
• General knowledge of the operation of closed video camera equipment and high pressure sewer cleaning equipment.
• PACP/MACP/LACP preferred.
• Strong knowledge of plans and specifications.
• Proficient with lasers, line and grade.
• Strong customer service and communication skills with mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Operating remote CCTV cameras to inspect interiors of pipelines and determine cleaning needs.
• Jetting, cabling, and installing clean-outs.
• Locate manholes from a map.
• Set up and take down traffic control.
• Operation and maintenance of equipment used in sewer maintenance and rehabilitation.
• Support sewer inspection and rehabilitation tasks.
