Job summary

Fabcon is hiring for a permanent full-time caulking and construction labor role in the Lansing area. You will be part of a crew responsible for caulking precast concrete panels and completing tasks safely under the foreperson’s guidance.

The position requires construction experience with caulking preferred, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to travel and work overtime as needed. The company offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Construction experience required.
• Caulking experience preferred.
• General knowledge of construction practices; two or more years of construction or manual labor experience preferred.
• Ability to travel extensively, including overnight travel 50% or more of the time, and work overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform caulking and general construction labor necessary to seal precast concrete panels.
• Complete assigned tasks safely and efficiently as part of a caulk crew.
• Follow work direction provided by the Caulk Crew Foreperson.
• Perform additional construction and field duties as assigned by the foreperson.
• Use materials and supplies efficiently and handle tools and equipment responsibly.
• Follow all established safety policies, procedures, and jobsite requirements.
• Maintain professional conduct and work effectively with crew members and other jobsite personnel.
