Job summary

Fabcon is seeking workers to perform caulking and general construction labor to seal precast concrete panels on a full-time, permanent basis. You will operate as part of a caulk crew, following directions from the foreperson and adhering to safety policies while maintaining high standards of workmanship.

Qualified candidates will have construction experience; caulking experience is preferred, plus the ability to travel and work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Construction experience required; caulking experience preferred.
• General knowledge of construction practices; two or more years of construction or manual labor experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to carry out simple and complex verbal instructions.
• Ability to safely work at heights, including from ladders and aerial work platforms.
• Ability to obtain membership in a local union.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• Ability to travel extensively, including overnight travel 50% or more of the time, and work overtime as required.
• Ability to traverse uneven ground, move materials weighing at least 50 pounds, and climb onto flatbed semi-trailers.
• Spatial awareness and depth perception necessary to perform field duties safely.
• Ability to work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions and around dirt, dust, and noise from heavy machinery and vehicles.
• Ability to work well with others and maintain professional conduct.

Permanent/Full Time, Shift: 7:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday–Friday

To provide caulking and general construction labor tasks, in an efficient and safe manner, as part of a crew caulking precast concrete panels.
