Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Electronics, Instrumentation or Chemistry preferred
• 2 years related technical experience required
• Experience in preventive maintenance, IQ/OQ/PV, troubleshooting, repair, and calibration to process, scales and balances, electronic, and mechanical equipment
• Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance
• Analytical skills and ability to apply information for problem solving and decision making
• Fully bilingual preferred

Responsibilities

• Travels to customer site to provide services (installations, maintenance or calibrations).
• Adapts equipment and technology to serve user needs.
• Provides technical support to customers related to instrumentation.
• Documents and reports all repairs and product failures.
• Provides equipment and improvements recommendations.
• Develops preventative maintenance procedures, IQ, OQ and PQ for the division.
• Executes testing and calibration programs for instruments according to manuals and SOPs.
• Diagnoses equipment failures and performs repairs per manufacturers guidelines.
• Performs maintenance of test apparatus and peripheral equipment.
• Consults with clients and team to assist with installation, maintenance and repairs.
