Job summary

Mentor Technical Group (MTG) in Las Piedras, PR is seeking an Instrumentation Calibration Technician to support pharmaceutical and biotech calibration activities in a GMP environment.

You will calibrate bioreactors, utilities, and formulation systems, with experience in tolerance calculations and calibration-management programs; familiarity with Blue Mountain RAM, Calman, or Procal software is highly preferred; shift: Tue–Sat 9pm–5:30am.

Qualifications

• Experience calibrating in pharmaceutical environment; biotech background preferred.
• Strong knowledge of tolerance calculations and calibration-system assessment.
• Experience calibrating bioreactors, utilities, and aseptic areas.
• Familiarity with GMP/compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform calibrations in pharmaceutical industry environments; biotechnology preferred.
• Conduct tolerance calculations and process tolerance evaluations.
• Manage calibration programs and system assessments.
• Calibrate to Bioreactors, Utilities, Formulation, Aseptic areas.
• Utilize Blue Mountain RAM, Calman or Procal software when possible.

Job Responsibilities:

• Experience performing calibrations in Pharmaceutical Industry Environment. Biotechnology preferred.
• Strong Knowledge in tolerance calculation
• Experience in Calibration system assessment
• Strong knowledge in process tolerance evaluation.
• ProcessInstrumentation/ Calibration to manage calibration program.
• Experience performing calibrations to Bioreactors, Utilities, Formulation, Aseptic Areas.
• Experience in Blue Mountain (RAM), Calman, or Procal Software is highly preferred.
