Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a contract onsite technician in Fairless Hills, PA to move and install large enterprise equipment, install fiber and copper cabling, and label and organize cabling for racks.

Travel within the regional area is required; a reliable personal vehicle and valid driver's license are needed. You will lift up to 40 pounds, stand and walk 8+ hours, and work in varying temperatures with PPE.

Qualifications

• Moving and installing large enterprise equipment.
• Installing fiber and copper cabling between equipment.
• Labeling, organizing, and dressing cabling.
• Travel within regional work area; reliable vehicle and valid driver's license required.
• Regularly lift up to 40 pounds; team lifts for 41+ pounds.
• 8+ hours standing/walking; climb ladders; PPE when required.
• Read and follow SOPs and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Travel to client sites within the regional area.
• Install and patch cabling between equipment.
• Label and organize cabling for racks and panels.
• Assist in moving equipment and loading/unloading.
