TEKsystems is seeking motivated Low Voltage Cable Technicians for project-based travel to local job sites in Massachusetts. The role spans entry-level to experienced technicians focused on low voltage and structured cabling (CAT5, CAT6, fiber).

This contract-to-hire opportunity offers hands-on training and long-term growth. Responsibilities include pulling and installing cable, assisting with terminations, reading drawings, and maintaining safety on commercial sites.

Qualifications

• Structured cabling experience is required or preferred.
• Experience with CAT5, CAT6 and fiber cabling.
• Cable pulling and installation experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Pull, route, and install CAT5, CAT6, and fiber optic cabling.
• Assist with cable terminations, labeling, and testing.
• Install cable pathways, supports, and related infrastructure.
• Read and interpret basic construction drawings and cable layouts.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Follow OSHA and site-specific safety requirements.
• Work alongside experienced technicians on commercial projects.
