Job summary

DataVox is seeking Cable Technicians to join the Building Technology Solutions (BTS) Department in Dallas–Fort Worth. You will work on copper and fiber cabling installations, run pathways, and assist with basic terminations and testing. A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are required.

Candidates should own essential tools and be prepared to pass a background check and drug screen. This role emphasizes safety, on-site coordination, and documentation as you support DataVox’s technology

Qualifications

• Must have experience with network cabling (Cat5/Cat6 or similar).
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Must provide own tools within 60 days of employment.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Handle material and jobsite preparation.
• Follow ladder and PPE safety requirements.
• Pull copper and fiber cabling.
• Install J-hooks and cable support pathways.
• Perform basic copper terminations.
• Label cables and maintain documentation.
• Install simple devices and faceplates.
• Perform basic testing and quality control.
