Job summary
DataVox, Inc. in Houston is seeking an experienced Cable Technician with 2+ years in field cabling to join the Building Technology Solutions (BTS) team. You will interpret CAD designs, assist with site surveys, and lead cabling projects across Cat.3–Cat.6, fiber, and related systems.

Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience with commercial cable installation.
- Extensive knowledge of copper and fiber cabling.
- Valid Driver’s License and own tools within 60 days of employment.
Responsibilities
- Installation and testing of network cabling (Cat.3 to Cat6, fiber, coax).
- Lead cabling projects with support from other technicians.
- Interpret CAD drawings and adhere to BICSI/EIA/TIA specs.
- Perform site surveys for infrastructure projects and coordinate with contractors.
- Install, terminate, and test data/voice jacks; manage materials and inventory.
- Ensure safety standards and customer satisfaction on job sites.
