Job summary

Pencor is seeking qualified Cable Technicians in Hawley, PA. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing cable television and high-speed internet services. Candidates must be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions and be able to lift up to 100 pounds.

Ideal candidates will have an Associates degree or equivalent experience, along with a strong background in electronics and computing. Residency in Pennsylvania is necessary within specified limits, and valid PA Driver's License is required.

Qualifications

• Established residency in Pennsylvania within 20 mile radius of base office.
• Valid PA Driver’s License and good driving record required.
• Ability to splice hard line cable, passives, and electronics.

Responsibilities

• Construct and install cable television transmission and distribution systems.
• Test, repair, and replace cable systems and associated hardware.
• Perform physical labor such as loading and unloading equipment.

Skills

Strong background in personal computers and Microsoft Windows

Strong background in electronics

Customer Relations Skills

Communication Skills (oral and written)

Organization and time management Skills

Ability to work effectively individually and as a team player

Education
