Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma, GED or related trade school.
• Experience: Ability to use small hand tools and power tools.
• Technical Skills: Install TV/internet equipment and test equipment.
• Soft skills: Reading/comprehension, independence, strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair cable/fiber TV, voice, and internet systems.
• internal and external wiring
• Test installed cables/fiber per specifications.
• Troubleshoot network issues.
• Repair cable/fiber poles and towers.
• Install cable/fiber racks and supports.
• Collaborate with customer service to handle work orders.
• Educate subscribers on equipment usage.
• Close out work orders with correct codes.
• Follow PPE and safety protocols.
• Operate tools and vehicles and perform inspections.
• Other duties as assigned.
