Job summary

MasTec Renewables is seeking a field procurement role to manage requisitions, obtain quotes, and oversee inventory and receiving for construction sites. You will coordinate with site management, logistics, and vendors to ensure compliant procurement and timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Two years of construction experience.
• Proficient in MS Office and scheduling software.
• Read, analyze and interpret blueprints, contracts or regulations.
• Strong safety focus and ability to coordinate with site management.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing the field/procurement requisition process.
• Obtain competitive quotes for all material requisitions and purchases at the field level.
• Responsible to manage the field receiving and inventory control processes.
• Ensure that POIRs are completed in a timely manner.
• Ensure that all requisition and purchases comply with MasTec Renewables policies.
• Setup and manage all local vendor accounts including required documentation (W9, confidentiality agreements).
• Coordinate with site management/logistics to designate receiving/staging areas for material deliveries.
• Coordinate with logistics to ensure materials are stored per vendor requirements.
• Reconcile Concur credit card statements weekly with approved emails or Requisition numbers.
• Coordinate with Laydown Yard Foreman and Construction Managers on inventory levels.
• Procurement activities in coordination with logistics.
• Communicate with Procurement team and onsite management as main contact regarding job progress.
• Coordinate pre-turnover maintenance of permanent plant equipment.
• Provide delivery date accuracy updates to management.
• Backup support for Materials Receiver.
• Other duties as assigned.
