Job summary

ECS Group of Companies is seeking Building Science + Infrastructure Technicians in Orlando to perform field tests, observations, and reporting for various projects. The role requires handling field equipment, documenting findings, and collaborating with project teams in dynamic field environments.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, up to 2 years of related experience, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; associate/technical degree preferred.
• 0–2 years related field experience.
• Certifications preferred but not required (NRCA, IIBEC, AWCI EIFS Inspector).
• Valid driver’s license required if driving for ECS.

Responsibilities

• Testing and observations for new construction, building science, and infrastructure services.
• Perform field and laboratory testing and observations.
• Progressive learning in testing of various systems in outdoors/indoors.
• Communicate daily with technicians, PMs, principals, clients, and site reps.
• Attend project meetings with senior staff/clients as requested.
• Document test results and observations in reports.
• Calibrate and use field equipment; assist with maintenance of equipment.
• Notify supervisor of broken or missing equipment.
• Incidental duties may include office/lab tasks.
• Other duties as requested.
