Job summary

NOVA Engineering & Environmental is seeking an entry-level to mid-level Building Enclosure Technician to join our Building Envelope Consulting team based in Kennesaw, GA. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated construction professional looking to expand their expertise in building envelope systems, forensic investigations, quality assurance inspections, and performance testing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of experience in one or more related construction fields.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform field testing of roofing, waterproofing, window, curtain wall, storefront, facade, and other building enclosure systems.
• Conduct performance testing on building envelope systems following industry standards.
• Assist with water infiltration and air leakage testing and QA evaluations.
• Observe construction activities and verify compliance with project specs and manufacturer requirements.
• Travel to project sites throughout Georgia and surrounding states as needed.
