Job summary

2020 Companies is seeking a Retail Engagement Specialist in Simi Valley, CA to visit retail locations, educate merchants on the client’s financial services, and promote the program. You’ll serve as the face of the brand, building relationships, answering questions, and ensuring a top-notch customer experience at each location.

This field-based role requires daily travel within the territory, independent work, and a strong focus on meeting territory goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience required.
• Six (6) months prior sales, promotion, retail, or marketing experience.
• Excellent communications, presentation, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Impeccable integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 15 lbs. at a time.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Reliable transportation within assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Visit retail locations within your assigned territory and engage with merchants in a professional, relationship-focused manner.
• Introduce and educate new merchants on the client’s financial services and program benefits.
• Provide on-site support, answer questions, and address concerns to ensure merchant understanding and confidence.
• Place and maintain point-of-sale materials and branding in-store.
• Document visits and track activity using mobile tools and reporting systems.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure territory goals and coverage expectations are met.
• Audit and record competitive products, promotions, merchandising, displays and merchant feedback.
• Travel to major markets and events for iconic launches to promote products.
