Job summary

Superior Central Boiler is seeking a Service Technician to lead field operations across commercial and industrial boiler solutions. You will perform installations, maintenance, and complex repairs on diverse boiler systems, ensuring safety and code compliance while supporting clients across NJ/PA/NY.

You will manage field service routes, diagnose complex burner sequences, and program combustion management systems.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Experience in industrial boiler maintenance, HVAC/R, or similar mechanical field.
• Ability to read complex electrical ladders and piping diagrams.
• Ability to independently manage field service routes.
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair boiler systems across commercial/industrial sites.
• Use advanced diagnostic tools and schematics to troubleshoot burner sequences and boiler logic.
• Perform detailed mechanical maintenance including open, clean, and close procedures and refractory repairs.
• Conduct field inspections to ensure compliance with local codes and manufacturer safety standards.
• Serve as the primary technical contact for clients to deliver excellent field service.
• Program and commission combustion management systems (Fireye, Siemens, Honeywell).
