Job summary

Thermal Tech Inc. is seeking an experienced Boiler Technician with deep expertise in controls, instrumentation, and combustion systems.

The role focuses on the electrical side of boiler service, diagnosing faults, tuning burners, and commissioning systems while maintaining safe operation. Responsibilities include inspection, testing, troubleshooting across boiler control circuits, and performing annual safety testing.

Qualifications

High School diploma required.
3+ years field experience in boiler/HVAC/electrical controls.
Strong troubleshooting ability to diagnose issues.
Knowledge of boiler room equipment, steam systems, combustion testing.
Experience with PLC controls, wiring, and control systems.

Responsibilities

Inspect, test, calibrate, and replace electrical control components.
Diagnose electrical faults across boiler control circuits using multimeters.
Read and interpret electrical schematics and control panel drawings.
Service burner management systems and tune air-to-fuel ratios.
Perform annual safety device testing per code and insurance requirements.
Execute electrical commissioning on new installations and post-repair boiler systems.
Document all work in NetSuite mobile.
Work independently in the field and coordinate with service, parts, and sales teams.
