Job summary

Youth Villages is seeking a PRN Community-Based Specialist to support youth and families in our community-based programs. You will conduct weekly sessions, assess needs, and collaborate with partners to create effective treatment plans.

The role requires driving to families’ homes, providing crisis support as needed, and maintaining accurate EMR documentation. Travel expectations are tied to location and caseload.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a social services discipline preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in social services required.
• Degrees in social work, counseling, psychology, or related fields considered.

Responsibilities

• Carries a small case load as assigned by supervisor on an as-needed basis.
• Holds individual and family sessions weekly with youth/families.
• Conducts ongoing assessment to determine needs from a strength-based, solution-focused perspective.
• Attends weekly meetings for professional development and trainings.
• Drives 60–80 miles to meet families in their homes and communities.
