Job summary

Collaborative Support Programs of NJ in Clifton, NJ seeks a full-time Support Worker to provide direct support, skill development, and community resource linkages for residents with psychiatric or substance use disabilities. The role is field-focused (70-80%), with on-call rotation compensation.

Requires a Bachelor’s in a mental health field or 3+ years of related lived experience, strong documentation, and a valid NJ driver’s license. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, PTO and holidays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; or a high school diploma with 3+ years relevant experience.
• Ability to prepare clear progress notes meeting regulatory standards.
• Ability to support daily living activities.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Must have a valid NJ Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support and skill development to residents.
• Work 70-80% in the field and assess residents’ service plans.
• Maintain timely, compliant progress notes.
• Advocate and connect residents to community resources.
