Job summary

First Point Group is seeking a Supplier Quality Representative (SQR) – WTP to support field-based quality surveillance across a multi-supplier network in the New England region. The role emphasizes welding, NDE, and supplier performance through inspections and documentation.

The ideal candidate holds a current AWS CWI certification with nuclear industry experience and will travel extensively to supplier facilities, performing surveillance and coordinating corrective actions as needed.

Qualifications

• Current AWS CWI certification and nuclear industry experience are required.
• Experience performing quality surveillance and inspections in industrial environments.
• Knowledge of welding, NDE, pipe supports, coatings, and dimensional inspection.
• Must have a valid driver's license and ability to travel to supplier facilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality surveillance at supplier facilities to verify conformance with codes and procurement requirements.
• Witness inspections, document review, and testing; document nonconformances with evidence.
• Coordinate corrective actions with suppliers and project quality personnel.
• Prepare surveillanceReports detailing observations, findings and status.
• Release conforming materials for shipment and support schedule coordination.
• Maintain quality records and ensure sub-suppliers are properly controlled.
