Job summary

Vertex Pharmaceuticals seeks a Senior Medical Science Liaison (Nephrology) to bridge science to the nephrology community. The role centers on building relationships with thought leaders, providing insights, and supporting medical strategy for IgAN and AMKD programs.

The MSL will present data at congresses, assist in clinical development activities, and ensure compliance with CRM data management while traveling in a field-based capacity to engage with healthcare professionals and researchers.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of MSL experience in nephrology or related pharma/biotech roles.
• Clinical or scientific nephrology background preferred.
• Strong scientific communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish and nurture relationships with nephrology thought leaders and HCPs.
• Provide scientific insights to internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Support medical strategy and present data at congresses.
• Assist in clinical development activities, including site nominations and data reviews.
• Ensure compliance and manage CRM data.
