Qualifications

• College degree preferred; 5+ years distribution sales mgmt experience.
• Expert in metal product lines and selling agreements.
• Strong presentation and relationship skills; leadership in multi-branch env.
• Experience selling commercial & residential metal products and sales plans.
• Strong leadership and communication.
• Experience with sales/inventory software; profit optimization.

Responsibilities

• Executes architectural presentations and project meetings to drive product specifications.
• Tracks and reports projects through selection, referrals, and completion.
• Assists in selecting and training preferred customer base.
• Develops regional metal sales plans with leadership to meet goals.
• Collaborates with Marketing and Technical Services on new product commercialization.
• Supports sales initiatives to exceed annual budgets with action plans.
• Identifies projects and referrals to account managers.
• Reviews regional sales performance and suggests improvements.
• Meets regional sales teams to review market data and communicates to the VP.
• Maintains regional metal customer relations; coordinates with Technical Team to grow specs and schedule visits.
• Provides regular updates to the VP.
• Ensures policy compliance and recommends improvements.
• Promotes company at industry meetings and events.
• Some overnight travel required.
