Center City District is seeking a Public Safety Operations Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of contracted security services serving Center City Philadelphia and CCD-managed parks. This hands-on leader will coordinate the deployment of Bike Safety Patrol and Park Security personnel, ensuring readiness and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Two years of supervisory experience in public safety, security operations, law enforcement, or related field.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond to complex situations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience coaching, training, and holding teams accountable to performance standards.
• CPR and First Aid certification, or ability to obtain certification upon hire.

Responsabilités

• Supervise daily deployment and performance of contracted security personnel.
• Monitor patrol activities, staffing levels, service coverage, and compliance.
• Conduct field inspections and provide oversight of staff patrols and posts.
• Support training initiatives focused on customer service, de-escalation, emergency preparedness, and safety protocols.
• Foster strong working relationships with CCD staff, Philadelphia police, SEPTA police, and other community partners.
• Respond to incidents, assess potential safety concerns, and coordinate with appropriate agencies when needed.
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of reports and operational documentation.
• Assist with onboarding and development of new security personnel.
• Participate in park and bike patrol activities as needed.
