Qualifications

• Two years of supervisory experience in public safety, security operations, law enforcement, or related field.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience coaching, training, and holding teams accountable to performance standards.
• CPR and First Aid certification, or ability to obtain certification upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily deployment and performance of contracted security personnel.
• Monitor patrol activities, staffing levels, service coverage, and compliance.
• Conduct field inspections and provide oversight of staff patrols and posts.
• Support training initiatives focused on customer service, de-escalation, emergency preparedness, and safety protocols.
• Foster strong working relationships with CCD staff, Philadelphia police, SEPTA police, and other community partners.
• Respond to incidents, assess potential safety concerns, and coordinate with appropriate agencies when needed.
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of reports and operational documentation.
• Assist with onboarding and development of new security personnel.
• Participate in park and bike patrol activities as needed.

This highly visible, field-based leadership role is critical to CCD's mission to keep Center City clean, safe, and welcoming for residents, visitors, workers, and businesses. The Supervisor will coordinate the daily deployment of contracted Bike Safety Patrol and Park Security personnel, ensuring service excellence, readiness, and strong collaboration with CCD teams and public safety partners.
