Job summary

ERM is seeking an Owner Advisor for Lebanon, Indiana to lead field-based process safety and operational readiness activities during construction and early startup. Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in construction safety and startup readiness.
• Experience on large industrial or chemical projects.
• Knowledge of process safety and high-consequence hazards.
• Experience with field-based safety oversight and contractor engagement.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible field presence and engage with project teams, contractors, and craft personnel.
• Provide owner-side oversight of process safety risks during construction, commissioning, and startup readiness.
• Identify conditions increasing risk of loss of containment, fire, or toxic exposure and escalate when needed.
• Monitor controls for high-risk activities and support SIMOPS risk evaluation.
• Document observations and recommendations and communicate risks to project leadership.
