Job summary

Modular Building Group is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee construction projects across Southwest Florida, including Punta Gorda, Sarasota, and Fort Myers. The role requires coordinating activities, schedules, and budgets, while ensuring safety and high-quality results.

The ideal candidate has strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with willingness to travel across the territory.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in project management, preferably in construction or a related industry.
• Experience in the mobile home or manufactured housing industry is preferred.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
• Proficiency with project management software and standard business applications.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory.
• Ability to conduct regular job-site visits and work effectively in a field-based environment.
• Company Vehicle or Vehicle Allowance: Provided.
• Travel Expenses: Reimbursed in accordance with company policy.
• Work Schedule: Approximately 45-55 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Oversee projects from initial planning through completion.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and timelines.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, field personnel, and other project stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress to ensure deadlines, budgets, and quality expectations are met.
• Conduct site visits to assess progress, resolve issues, and maintain project standards.
• Communicate regularly with clients, management, and project teams regarding updates, changes, and potential challenges.
• Identify and resolve project-related issues proactively.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, reports, and records.
• Ensure compliance with applicable safety standards, building codes, and company procedures.
• Manage multiple projects across the Southwest Florida service area as needed.
