The role emphasizes fieldwork (about 80%) with some office duties; candidates should have experience with addiction, strong communication, and the ability to work independently and with a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform crisis stabilization and advocate for clients by identifying resources and partnerships.
• Act as liaison between individuals, caregivers, and service providers; follow up with identified individuals and emergency contacts.
• Use interpersonal and communication skills with City employees, the Mayor, Council, and community members in a tactful, patient manner.
• Provide information and assistance to the public and refer to other governmental agencies.
