The City of Auburn is seeking an Anti-Homelessness Specialist to support those experiencing homelessness by removing barriers, promoting recovery, and assisting clients toward wellness goals. This role involves field work (about 80%) and occasional office duties to coordinate services and resources.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of related work experience.
• Demonstrates ability to complete essential elements of the job.

Responsibilities

• Perform crisis stabilization and connect clients to resources and partners.
• Act as liaison between individuals, caregivers, and service providers; follow up with contacts.
• Use strong interpersonal and written communication with diverse stakeholders.
• Provide information and referrals to the public and other agencies.
