Qualifications

• 1-3 years of dental treatment coordinator experience required.
• Knowledge of all dental insurances is required.
• Travel 90-100% of the time is required.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients on treatment type and scope.
• Convert planned treatment to scheduled treatment across specialties.
• Communicate with referring offices about plans and updates.
• Verify insurances for cases and claims.
• Handle COP calls/faxes and authorization processes.
• Explain procedures clearly to patients (fillings, crowns, etc.).
• Process payments (Cash, Credit, Care Credit).
• Audit chart notes and create claims; run end-of-day reports.
• Assist with opening/closing the office; daily housekeeping.
