Job summary

Aytu BioPharma is seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to act as a field-based scientific expert across the Eastern U.S. You will engage with KOLs, investigators, and HCPs to advance product science and educate colleagues. Significant travel, up to 70%, is required to support medical strategy and training initiatives.

The role emphasizes non-promotional, data-driven information and collaboration with R&D, Regulatory, and Commercial teams to align medical strategy and lifecycle planning.

Qualifications

• Must hold an advanced scientific degree (PharmD/PhD/MD or equivalent).
• 1–3 years of MSL experience; 5–8 years preferred in pharma/biotech.
• Travel 50–70% to cover Eastern U.S. territory and conferences.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with KOLs, investigators, and academic centers in the Eastern U.S.
• Provide training support for the commercial team and create education materials.
• Serve as scientific resource with non-promotional, data-driven information.
• Bridge Scientific Affairs with commercial teams for training and insights.
• Support external clinical development through site identification and education.
• Represent the company at medical congresses to gather insights.
• Facilitate advisory boards, speaker trainings, and peer-to-peer education.
• Respond to unsolicited scientific information requests under compliance.
• Provide field feedback to R&D, Commercial, Regulatory teams.
• Partner with Clinical Operations for site support and awareness.
• Maintain therapeutic area expertise through ongoing training.
