The Whole Child - Mental Health & Housing Services in Whittier, CA seeks a Mental Health Specialist for full-time, non-exempt work. You will provide targeted case management and rehabilitative services to families, coordinating with clinicians to connect clients to community resources and supports, under supervision.

Responsibilities include outreach, intensive care coordination, and documentation to meet Medi-Cal/DMH standards, with opportunities for growth in a bilingual, multicultural setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of work experience in case management or rehabilitation in mental health.
• Knowledge of community resources and DMH/Med-Cal standards.
• Willing to work in homes, schools and community settings.
• Bilingual English/Spanish may be required; bilingual skills compensated.

Responsabilités

• Assist in Outreach and Engagement (O&E).
• Provide direct ICC case management and IHBS services.
• Link clients to community resources and supports.
• Maintain timely documentation and reporting as required.

Bachelor’s degree in social work/psychology
