Job summary

Wire 3 is looking for a QA/QC Fiber Optic Splicing Tester to join our Daytona Beach team. You will ensure splicing results meet Wire 3 quality standards across active OSP construction, capturing data with company gear and documenting findings in the field.

You will report to the Splicing Manager, perform field inspections, communicate risks, and help implement project plans. Training on testing equipment is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in fiber optic construction, quality control, or a related field preferred; motivated candidates willing to learn will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Capture and document test results from fiber optic splicing operations using Wire 3’s company platform and testing gear
• Perform physical plant quality inspections in the field, recording pass/fail results against the Wire 3 quality checklist via tablet on the company platform; capture photos documenting the condition found at each location
• Communicate project risks and quality hazards to the Splicing Manager as they arise
• Work directly with the Splicing Manager on areas of completion and inspection results
• Assist in implementing project and program plans as assigned
• Other duties as assigned
