Job summary

CDM Smith in Kaneohe, HI seeks a Disaster Program Delivery Specialist to collect and coordinate applicant data, review PDA information, and support FEMA processes from eligibility through closeout.

You will schedule meetings, validate damage details, assist with site inspections, and communicate status to applicants while ensuring compliance and timely delivery of the public assistance program.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent. Domestic travel is required.
• 5 years of in-field experience (2 years of in-field experience with a bachelor’s degree).

Responsibilities

• Collects, coordinates and reviews applicant data to determine eligibility and priority of assignments.
• Audits for completeness and reviews information gathered during the Preliminary Damage Assessment (PDA).
• Schedules site inspections with applicants and Site Inspector Task Force Leader.
• Supports the claims process by reviewing and validating damage details, scopes of work, and costs.
• Participates in regular FEMA meetings and may evaluate claims for eligibility.
• Assists with the development of Determination Memo and communicates final determinations to applicants.
• Performs exit briefings with applicants.
