Job summary

CDM Smith seeks a Disaster Program Delivery Specialist to coordinate applicant data, validate damage details, and support FEMA recovery efforts. You will schedule inspections, review scopes of work, and help develop final determinations with applicants.

Qualifications

  • Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a FEMA badge.
  • Good organizational skills to balance and prioritize work.
  • Good attention to detail and customer service skills.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to change quickly and remain flexible.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; domestic travel is required.
  • 5 years of in-field experience (2 years with a bachelor’s degree).

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate applicant data to determine eligibility and priority of assignments.
  • Review damage details, scopes of work and costs with applicants.
  • Schedule site inspections with applicants and the Site Inspector Task Force Leader.
  • Assist with development of the Determination Memo and communicate final determinations.
  • Participate in regular FEMA meetings and provide status updates.
  • Conduct exit briefing with applicants and support documentary transmittal through FEMA resources.
