Job summary

Alexion Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Director, National Accounts to lead Kaiser Permanente access strategy and contract negotiations within Kaiser’s integrated care model. You will build senior-level relationships, coordinate cross-functional teams, and drive access outcomes across regions while traveling up to 60%.

A minimum of 10+ years in market access and 5+ years in national account management is required, with established Kaiser Permanente relationships and strong negotiation capabilities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience in Market Access in the biopharmaceutical/pharmaceutical industry.
• 5+ years’ experience in an account management role with responsibility for national payer, integrated delivery network, health system, PBM, or vertically integrated payer customers.
• Experience negotiating contracts with payers, integrated delivery systems, PBMs, specialty pharmacies, or regional health plans.
• Established relationships with Kaiser Permanente national and regional medical, pharmacy, formulary, contracting, and population health stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Implement Kaiser-specific access strategies reflecting Kaiser Permanente’s model to support patient access to Alexion’s medicines.
• Lead negotiations and account planning with Kaiser Permanente stakeholders to secure favorable access and contracting outcomes.
• Drive execution of brand access strategies across Kaiser Permanente affiliates and regions.
• Educate cross-functional teams on Kaiser Permanente coverage policies and regional variation.
• Travel up to 60% to support national and regional engagements.
