Job summary

Elan Partners is seeking an Associate Dealer Development Manager to manage a territory with a home-office setup. The role emphasizes building strong relationships with fuel distributors and business owners while traveling within NJ/PA/DE to support dealer locations.

You will learn the wholesale fuel business, including dealer operations, pricing, and profitability, with mentorship from experienced managers and opportunities to advance to a Territory Manager role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in B2B sales, territory management, account management, retail operations, convenience stores, hospitality, field operations, or another customer-facing leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Build and develop relationships with fuel distributors and independent business owners within your territory.
• Travel across New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware supporting dealer locations.
• Conduct site visits to evaluate branding, merchandising, safety, and operational execution.
• Assist with dealer onboarding, training, and business transitions.
• Support new business development by identifying prospective dealers and territory growth initiatives.
• Learn fuel pricing, margin management, inventory controls, and key drivers of dealer profitability.
