Job summary

Public Storage is seeking a Property Manager to operate at multiple facilities, both indoors and outdoors. You will assess customer storage needs, upsell packing and moving supplies, and ensure spaces are ready to rent through daily inspections.

The role also includes cash handling, deposits, and customer payment assistance. You will travel between locations using your own vehicle, with mileage reimbursement provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service-centered sales environments (retail, restaurant, fast food or other service industries).
• Ability to work independently at multiple locations and in varying indoor/outdoor settings.
• Willingness to perform outdoor tasks and navigate facilities (stairs, large doors).
• Experience with cash handling and deposits; payments reminders and collections.

Responsibilities

• Assess customer storage needs and make suggestions, including selling packing and moving supplies.
• Conduct daily storage unit inspections to confirm inventory and availability, ensuring spaces are ready to rent.
• Audit cash drawers and perform bank deposits as part of daily operations.
• Assist customers with payments and make reminder/collection calls when required.
• Travel between different work locations using own vehicle (mileage reimbursement available).
