Job summary

Morgan Engineering in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Sales Specialist to drive growth in Standard Cranes and provide solutions to customers in the assigned territory.

You will gather detailed customer information, present pricing within industry norms, perform field verifications, and maintain CRM data. Travel is required.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree preferred.
• 3+ years sales experience.
• Experience in industrial equipment sales preferred.
• Familiarity with overhead crane industry is a plus.
• Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical principles.
• Strong verbal, written, and computer skills.
• Willing to travel.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales growth in respective geographic areas to meet your assigned financial objectives for Standard Cranes.
• Gather and submit detailed business information to provide sales, technical, product, and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory
• Ensure pricing is within industry levels and are competitive
• Perform joint or independent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.
• Follow up on potential quotes, and projects and maintain all data in the CRM.
• Attend weekly sales/update meetings to review active projects
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, and quotas.
• Participate in the development of sales and marketing strategies and long-range planning
• Continually appraise company products, policies, and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.
• Recommend changes in pricing and product strategy as required
• Appraise promptness in order processing, deliveries, technical services, parts, warranty, and other customer services.
• Attend meetings and trainings as required.
