Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Clinical Specialist, Coronary in Boston to support vascular products through clinical education and sales support. You will plan cases, provide case coverage, and drive pull-through across the region with emphasis on Vessel Closure, in hospital settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2–5+ years of related work experience.
• Ability to travel 50% within assigned region.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical procedure and product expert for coronary case coverage in hospital settings.
• Meet with physicians and hospital staff to identify clinical needs and demonstrate vascular products.
• Develop relationships with hospital personnel and identify key decision makers.
• Provide clinical education and sales support to achieve sales goals and market share growth.
• Educate customers on product usage through presentations and demonstrations in multiple formats.
• Attend procedures in Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology Lab, and OR to ensure customer success.
• Respond to customer needs and complaints with feasible solutions, coordinating with Sales, Clinical Research, Marketing, and Product Development.
