Job summary

Compcare is seeking a Community Support Services Counselor to provide IMR and crisis intervention, assist clients with daily living skills, and implement treatment plans. The role requires independence and travel to consumers’ homes, with responsibilities including medication monitoring.

Qualifications

• BSW in Social Work or BA/BS in psychology are required.
• One year of direct care experience preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Provides IMR and crisis intervention services.
• Assists with food shopping, laundry and daily living skills.
• Implements prescribed treatment plan and assists in the development of IRPs.
• Must be able to work independently and travel to consumers’ residencies as required.
• Monitors medication in the consumers home.
