Job summary

Grow Good Hawaii is seeking a Program Coordinator to manage the day-to-day implementation of a grant-funded Container Garden Food Security Initiative across Oahu. You will coordinate kit assembly, distribution, workshops, and participant support for 250 households, working with four partner organizations.

The role is 0.75 FTE (~30 hours/week), location across Oahu with regular travel, starting Oct 1, 2026. It reports to the Program Director, with potential for renewal after a 12-month grant

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating programs, events, community outreach, or similarly complex projects.
• Excellent organizational and project-management skills with ability to track timelines and records.
• Strong communication and relationship-building across diverse communities.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel regularly across Oahu.
• Comfortable with hands-on logistics and physical tasks involved in kit distribution.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day implementation of the Container Garden Food Security Initiative.
• Be the main liaison for four+ partner organizations and 250 households.
• Coordinate kit assembly, distribution, workshops, and participant support.
• Maintain participant records, attendance, and survey data for evaluation.
• Support program strategy, evaluation, and grant compliance with leadership.
