Job summary

Cox Fleet, part of Cox Automotive, is hiring a Light/Medium Duty Automotive Technician to support Corcoran Fleet Services. Expect travel to customer sites across the region, working on light and medium-duty trucks and equipment under a flat-rate pay structure.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and your own hand tools. 1 year of technician experience (2+ preferred) with DOT safety compliance is required; training opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Possess and supply a set of hand tools.
• Minimum 1 year of automotive technician experience on light/medium vehicles.
• 2 years of equivalent experience in a similar technician role.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer locations; most work outdoors.
• Perform PMs, DOT inspections, and repairs on light/medium vehicles.
• Repair and diagnose electrical, braking, cooling, engine, and transmission systems.
• Maintain tool inventory and document work on RO.
• Ensure safety compliance and proper documentation.
