Adamas Energy is seeking an Automation Technician to repair, install, troubleshoot, and maintain control systems in gas and liquid facilities and pipelines. The role covers PLCs, DCS, SCADA, and related equipment with a focus on predictive and preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities include supporting safety programs, overseeing contractor work, and ensuring accurate reporting. Strong problem-solving and self-motivation are essential for success in variable outdoor environments.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED plus an Associate's degree in Instrumentation.
• 5–10 years of relevant industry experience (level dependent).
• Related software and system certifications required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and multiple operating systems.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in safety programs, policies, procedures, and initiatives in partnership with HSE.
• Oversee installation, diagnosis, safety controls, and maintenance of PLCs and well control systems.
• Read and interpret manuals, policies, engineering standards, regulations, drawings, and schematics (electrical, pneumatic, and P&IDs).
• Provide work direction, oversight, and inspection of work performed by contractors.
• Participate in on-call/call-out requirements.
• Maintain motor controls, relay logic, RTUs, and I&E associated end-devices.
• Use software to troubleshoot, design, or configure control solutions using FactoryTalk, RSLogix, ControlLogix, and RocLink.
• Provide accurate written and electronic reporting.
